EDUCATION AND YOUTH

Goal 2 on page 7 of the Branch's Strategic Plan focuses on improving educational outcomes for African American Students.  To that end, the Education Committee assigned to implement that portion of the plan has published the following table of tasks and assignments in support of their current objective focus which is to:


"Improve the graduation rates among African American students by providing programs and training for students and parents to support the educational process"

[2] Gaps could be based on the following criteria (as well as other not identified): (1) Location; (2) Services to specific demographic groups (teenage parents, students within the criminal justice system, high achieving students; and (3) Subject Matter (English, Sciences, Mathematics) / areas of preparation (SATs, PSATs, SOLs)
